What is New at St Mary

St. Mary Coffee & Tea Ministry

Demo Sunday, March 12 after the 7:30 and 9:30 Masses

What is your favorite espresso drink? Have you ever tried ceremonial matcha? St. Mary new coffee and tea ministry will have these offerings and more to supplement coffee and donuts and the Knights of Columbus breakfasts – with the hope of eventually growing into a fully functioning coffee shop to facilitate outreach in our parish and the Littleton community. Interested in learning more or supporting us? Stop by our demo on March 12th after the 7:30 and 9:30 Masses and mark your calendars for our kickoff on March 26.

The Obedience of Love

Monday, March 13th, at 7 pm Ave Maria Hall

A Capstone Presentation by Ashley Lessard, 4th Year Candidate for Ordination to the Permanent Diaconate

Catherine of Siena called obedience the “key with which heaven is opened,” and Teresa of Avila declared, “there is no path which conducts us sooner to the highest perfection”. It is striking how attached the saints were to this virtue that modernity would love to eschew. How the quality of their external practice of obedience seemed just a dim reflection of an interior reality.

Join us Monday, March 13th, at 7 pm Ave Maria Hall for an exploration of the virtue of obedience, going beyond our common understanding of the “obedience of authority”, to a deeper understanding of the “obedience of love”. An obedience of everyday life, for everyday people. A means for all of us to rediscover the fullness of love in the “plain path of obedience”.
