That Man is You

The St. Mary Parish That Man Is You! (TMIY) program is a men's catechesis group. Our current program entails book discussions on compelling faith formation texts. We typically read a chapter each week and then discuss interesting aspects in our in-person meeting. Fr. Andrej Makovnic is our advisor. We meet throughout the year except on holidays. Attendance is not mandatory to participate, and people arrive and leave as their schedules permit. Some even choose to skip the readings but enjoy the in-person discussion and fellowship.

Meetings are held on Friday mornings at 6:00 am to 7:30 am in the Pastoral Center conference room.

Families of Bethany

Families of Bethany is a ministry offered by the Disciples of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary to families as a place of growth in Catholic life through spiritual and human formation, sharing and friendship.

Families of Bethany is established on three pillars:

  • Friendship with Jesus: lived with gratitude out of his love for us and the joy of knowing that listening to him is the one thing we need. Our friendship with Christ is expressed in a rule of life as individuals and as families.
  • A common path: walked with other families and expressed through shared activities that help us leave our loneliness and mature in our friendship with Jesus.
  • A mission: Each one of us is called to communicate to others the delight of Jesus’ friendship.

Join a small group of 5-7 couples and families for monthly in-home meetings focused on building strong faithful Catholic families through growth in friendship with Christ and each other. Meetings consist of scripture and other readings, discussion, and community time.
