Sunday after Sunday, generation after generation, since October 11, 1901, Jesus Christ has been made present in our midst through the celebration of the Holy Mass at St. Mary.

In 2026, we will also celebrate 75 years of St. Mary School, 150 years since the founding of Colorado, and 250 years since the founding of the United States. Each anniversary reminds us of the blessings we have received and especially of the gift of our parish, handed down by our ancestors, lived by us today, and, by God’s grace, passed on to future generations. 

As we reflect on our time here at St. Mary, and celebrate this milestone, I invite you to share your own memories. Beginning in January, our bulletin will feature a section celebrating the gift of St. Mary, and we would love to include your contributions. Join us as we honor all chapters of our Parish’s history, and let us keep our Parish’s past, present and future close in our hearts and within our prayers.

Anniversary Prayer:

Lord, as we celebrate 125 years of Your presence among us here in Littleton, we ask You to help us live this anniversary with gratitude—first to You, and also to those who worshiped You in this place before us. Make us live this present time with enthusiasm and generosity. With confidence, we entrust to You the future generations of parishioners who will receive You in the Eucharist at St Mary. Amen.
