Now Hiring: Accounting Assistant- Part Time
We have an immediate need to fill a part-time accounting assistant position in the parish office. This role is responsible for processing accounts payable and some accounts receivable for the parish, gift shop, ministries, and pre-K – 8th grade school. Verify supporting documentation for transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance. Onboard and maintain vendor records. Communicate with vendors and parishioners regarding billing or payment inquiries. Reconcile credit cards, Amazon, and general ledger accounts. Ensure accuracy of donor contributions.
The position offers $22-$24 per hour, depending on experience. Our strong preference is for someone from within the St. Mary community who is familiar with our parish programs, events, and school.
